Alcorcón Welcomes a New 66,000 m² Entertainment Megacomplex

Alcorcón is preparing for the arrival of Soho City, a major new cultural, leisure and dining destination set to open in December 2026.

The ambitious project will transform the former Alcorcón Center for the Creation of the Arts (CREAA) into a vast 66,000 m² entertainment complex, bringing new life to a site that remained unfinished for more than a decade following the 2008 financial crisis.

Soho City will feature six performance stages, including a major auditorium with capacity for more than 1,600 spectators, alongside spaces dedicated to theatre, circus, dance, exhibitions and audiovisual productions.

The concept extends far beyond traditional entertainment. The complex is expected to host concerts, festivals, outdoor cinema, film productions, large-scale shows, corporate events and cultural activities throughout the year.

Visitors will also find a café, restaurant and food-focused events, positioning Soho City as a year-round social and entertainment destination rather than simply a performance venue.

The development represents an important step in the regeneration of Alcorcón and could further strengthen the municipality’s appeal as a growing residential, cultural and investment destination within the Madrid metropolitan area.
