Harry Potter Drone Show Returns to Madrid with New Dates Announced

Fans of the Wizarding World have even more opportunities to experience one of Madrid’s most spectacular events this autumn. Due to high demand, the DroneArt Show: Harry Potter™ has added three new performances at the Hipódromo de la Zarzuela, taking place on 1, 2, and 3 October, alongside the previously announced shows on 16 and 18 September.

The immersive open-air experience will transform the Madrid sky into a magical canvas using 1,200 synchronized drones, recreating unforgettable scenes inspired by the Harry Potter™ films while the iconic soundtrack plays live. This year’s production is the largest yet, promising even more detailed aerial animations and breathtaking visual effects.

The two-part show combines cutting-edge drone technology with music and audience interaction. Visitors will receive synchronized LED wristbands that illuminate in harmony with the performance, creating an immersive atmosphere inspired by the four Hogwarts™ houses. An electric violinist will also perform highlights from the beloved film score live during the event.

The experience begins well before the drones take flight. Guests can arrive up to two hours early to enjoy themed merchandise, food trucks, and a festive atmosphere at the historic Hipódromo de la Zarzuela, one of Madrid’s architectural landmarks.

Tickets are already on sale, with prices starting from €24.90, making this one of the most anticipated family-friendly events of Madrid’s autumn entertainment calendar.
